Here we are again with another absurd law that my country has that has negative effects people and their loved ones. I can’t grasp the logic of their illogical minds behind this one.
OK. The news was that, a little girl had an accident and is now paralyzed from her neck down. The girls doctors say if they have a ‘root cell treatment’ she may recover. But they can only find these cells in a sibling and the best place to get them is from a newborn sibling’s birth cord.
Well positive news! Even though mum and dad have been divorced two and a half years, and maybe remarried or not are in a relationship, all the adults involved agree they can have another child together through artificial insemination to have the sibling and share the love and parenting of the child....
But the Md's say NO NO NO !!!! You can’t because you are NOT MARRIED. There is a law that says you can’t have artificial insemination unless you are a married couple in my country... Daaaa ? So all hope for the little girl’s recovery is on hold.
Now I am asking you ?
If mum and dad want, they can jump in bed to have a baby... but they can’t do this in a modern way without getting hurt emotionally.
Maybe they have to get divorced from their new spouses or leave them and re-marry for their daughter’s future ?
What happens to the third party emotionally ? What happens to the girl’s parents ? What happens to the girl ? She has to remain living paralyzed for the rest of her life ?
ALL BECAUSE SOME D......K HEAD decided the law should be the way it is, you have to be married in order to LOVE a child ?
Thank you for not thinking openly before you enact laws created in your conservative little minds.
They say their motives are based on being proper humans as their religion requires. Are these people are going to say ' God bless, we have so conservatively ethical laws ' when there is a little girls future involved ? Do you really think you will go to heaven because of your good work enacting such laws ?
Come to your senses ! We are in the 21st century, human rights lesson 101:
People have the right to have children..... Legislatures should not say jack shit about it.
A couple married or not if they have the love to give the baby they can !
A gay couple, if they have the love to give the baby, they can !
A single woman, if she has the love to give the baby she can ! Or a single man !
You can’t ban people who believe there is hope for this world from having babies to rise and change the future a world YOU EXTREMISTS f...ed up!
